Sandra Bullock Wins at 2010 Teen Choice Awards
Sandra Bullock led the winners at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards held on Sunday at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles, California, surprising everyone when she accepted her award for choice movie actress in a drama despite missing the blue carpet parade.
Bullock, who missed last year’s edition due to her marital problems, bagged the ubiquitous surfboard for her Oscar-winning role in “The Blind Side.” “I’m so blessed and lucky. The Blind Side – I got to meet so many good people, so many good lessons I took away from it,” said Bullock, who appeared hip in her gray shirt and black leather pants.
Other winners included Megan Fox for choice female hottie, Selena Gomez, Channing Tatum, Taylor Lautner, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, and the cast of “Glee.”
The show featured several performances by some of today’s hottest young artists, including host Katy Perry, who opened the awards with her latest single “Teenage Dream.” Other performers included Jason Derulo and Travis McCoy. Justin Bieber, one of the winners, performed “U Smile” via satellite.
The show will be aired Monday on Fox.
