Fantasia Barrino Sued for Extra-Marital Affairs
The winner of the third season of popular reality competition show American Idol in 2004 Fantasia Barrino was included in a lawsuit by a woman in North Carolina because of having an affair with her husband. The woman further declared that her husband and the singer “recorded” some of their sexual encounters.
Paula Cook filed the lawsuit against husband Antwuan Cook and Fantasia Barrino Wednesday, August 4. Declared in the lawsuit is the claim that Barrino and Antwuan Cook started their affair August of last year when the two met at the Charlotte-area T-Mobile store where the husband works.
The court documents said, “Husband and Ms. Barrino have at times recorded their illicit sexual activity.”
Barrino has been described in the document to be sporting a tattoo of the word “Cook” in her left shoulder.
The Cooks separated last June.
Fantasia Barrino, 26, is a Grammy Award multi-nominated artist. She and her representatives have not issued any comments yet regarding the lawsuit.
